A modest dining room with paper tablecloths reminds us of traditional restaurants. Don’t expect modern conveniences here. But behind it all is a chef with a unique flair who will delight us with every dish.
As starters, octopus from the estuary, mussels, spider crabs, razor clams, barnacles, or clams à la marinière are finger-licking good.
As a main course, we recommend the rice with rice, which is a sure bet. They’ve been making it for many years, and it shows. The caldeirada is also very good.
Their homemade desserts are also delicious, such as the baked cheesecake or flan.
