This stretch begins at the Porto de Santa Mariña huts, leading us to Praia da Barda. For the first few meters, we follow the coast behind the port…
… until we reach the cross that tells us that, a few meters ahead, we must turn left, inland. Be careful at this junction, as it is impossible to continue along the coast.
As we enter the mountains of Monte Mean and Arbosa, and with a bit of luck, we can see the only herd of wild horses on this path. Nestled against the rock, a small, handcrafted horse helps its owner care for them. It’s a shame there aren’t more herds along the coast, but the truth is that this is the case.
We continue along the path between mountains until we reach the road, which we leave after just 200 meters to ascend Mount Arbosa.
At the top, O Camiño dos Faros surprises us once again with a unique landscape that you can only see if you follow this path. A completely unspoiled environment that deserves a stop at one of its stones just to admire it: the Barda Inlet.
