If the weather is good, any of the terraces along Malpica’s seafront promenade are a great place to sit and contemplate the sea. If you also fancy listening to some music, we recommend the terrace of the Bar Submarino. Located right above the beach, you can have a drink and relax with spectacular panoramic views of the beach, the sea, and the Sisargas Islands.
Furthermore, during the summer months, Pepe often prepares grilled sardines or grilled meat for his customers. Without a doubt, this is one of the iconic spots on the Parrochiña Route.
The Submarino’s relationship with the “trasnos” goes way back. It was there, while contemplating the San Adrián promenade, that the idea of connecting Malpica with Fisterra along the seafront arose.
Later, during the various editions and events held to consolidate this Camiño dos Faros, they were always willing to support us and delight us with some delicious tapas while we watched the sunset.
Of course, when winter arrives, there’s no choice but to close the hatches and take refuge inside 😉
