Bar da Insua (Fisterra)

After a stage without shade and hardly any fountains, Bar da Insua is the oasis for the Trasnos. This small bar-shop has transformed along the way. From those stops in the early years…

… until today, it has grown alongside the road. Trasnos are very fond of small things, and we quickly grew fond of it, all nice and cozy next to the granary.

Inside, it houses a collection of old bottles, many from the many ships that passed through here.

One day we asked him if he’d let us paint it…

…and there we left him a mural of the great Teresa Candal.

As I said, the best stop before tackling the last 4 kilometers of this amazing Camiño dos Faros.
